Surah 42 Ayat 29
And among His Signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth and the living creatures that He has scattered through them: and He has power to gather them together when He wills.

Is it wrong for me to say that the second hadith should be made aware to husbands who recklessly practise polygamy? :D
And who beat their wives also. To define good character, the Prophet (pbuh) had a list of noble qualities that equalled the adab, the courtesy and manners of life. This are lovely hadiths, and point the way.
