The Kashf al Mahjub

Al-Hujwiri, "The Kashf al Mahjub"

Since man is made of clay, he can never be completely pure. Since clay is basically foul, how can humans escape their basic nature? Purity does not lie in rituals, nor can human nature be changed by effort. Those who love God and remain conscious only of their Beloved attain purity.

True words from the Shaykh. Only on constant attention to the Beloved, by prayer and remembrance and zekr, is the lover called closer.

Ya Haqq!

No doubt man has been created from clay but he has indulged and absorbed in himself the filth and impurities of this world and has deprived himself from the life giving showers of ALMIGHTY THE LIFE GIVER.
Inspite of all this filth in him if he adheres to the covenants ( an agreement between God and his people in which God makes certain promises and requires certain behaviour from them in return)

continued;_الستو بربك am I not your CREATOR? and ADAM said قالو بلا yes and accepted it and now he is transgressing this agreement. those who turn to him and receive the showers of HIS kindness bolssom like buds as the soil having absorbed the filth and excreta of this world does when it receives the kindly showers.
