Rumi, "The Life and Thought of Rumi"
Knowledge has two wings. Conjecture is one wing. Conjecture alone is lacking and cuts short the flight. The one-winged bird continues to struggle, hoping to reach the nest somehow with one wing. And then wisdom shows his shining face. Delivered from conjecture, the bird now spreads both wings (and soars once again).

Hadith
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "If anyone has a female child and does not bury her alive (a pre-Islamic practice), or slight her, or prefer his (male) children to her, God will bring him into Paradise."

Off world games
Assalam Alaikum
Well we played the New Malaysia team and were stomped. I would like to say that it was because we were still not fully acclimated, but we were simply out played. The final score was 3 to nil. We made plenty of attacks on the goal but could not get the ball in. their goalie was phenomenal. The kids were bummed but were cheered up by the fact that they went further than any other junior team from New Kurdistan and now we have time to got visit the museum and to see the grand parliament in session.
Be home soon.
Salam
